![]() ![]() All my games and what not are on a separate drive anyways so it was only a 10 minute setback, but still. I do recommend keeping 11 on a separate drive, because it did brick my computer last night and I had to reinstall the OS. Just wanted to give my experience to anyone on the fence about 11. I don't think the OS aesthetics of 11 are anything to write home about, but I could care less if the gaming performance increase stays the course. I also read that Windows is possibly making a gaming version of OS 11 to boost performance even more. I was reading that its hit or miss for people getting better or worse performance, but the general consensus seems to be that mot people are getting a performance boost. Last night I played Warzone for the first time on 11 and without changing any of my graphics settings from what they were on Windows 10 I went from a steady 140 - 150 FPS to 170 - 180 FPS.Īt first I thought it was just a fluke, but I played 4 games and consistently was getting 170 - 180. Once you’ve installed the latest Xbox Game Bar app, follow the steps below to open the FPS counter: On your keyboard, press the Windows button. Next to Choose a refresh rate, select the rate you want. I just wanted to share my recent experience with OS 11 and Warzone. Select Start > Settings > System > Display > Advanced display.
